Alpaca madness

Taken at 5,200 meters above sea level, somewhere between oxygen deprivation and a spiritual awakening, I met these two. 

Dressed like they were about to headline a Peruvian fashion show, casually posted in front of one of the world’s most surreal backdrops, Rainbow Mountain.

They didn’t care that I’d just spent hours hiking uphill, gasping for breath and questioning my life choices. One looked at me like I was underdressed. The other didn’t even blink, just stood there like a bodyguard who’s seen it all.

Their tassels were brighter than my future. Their energy? Unbothered.

I asked for a selfie. They blinked slowly. I took this instead.
