House of the Sea

Just off the coast of Cartagena, in the Rosario Islands, I spotted this house standing alone in the middle of the water. 

You don’t expect to see something like that every day, a full home, seemingly floating in the sea.

There’s something incredibly raw and honest about it. It’s not trying to impress anyone. It’s just there, holding its ground.

What I love about this photo is how it captures a version of life that’s stripped down to the essentials. No noise, no distractions, just water, sky, and space to breathe. 

It made me think about what it would be like to live somewhere like that. To wake up each morning with nothing but the ocean around you, and to dive straight into the water whenever you felt like it.

This place feels like freedom
